fall retreat: This will be the first big event of the year following freshman move-in.  It will be help on September 17-19th.  We will be going to Richmond, VA for the entire weekend as we put some action to our theme of “beauty in justice.”  The cost of this trip will be $20 for early registration by Sept 5th and $30 for late registration by September 12th. The cost of the trip covers all your food, travel, and housing. You can get a registration form by email us on our contact page and asking for one or at our Sunday Gathering.  Our theme this year for this retreat will be: micah six eight.

baptism: We are going to be having an opportunity for you to be baptized soon!  If you have never been baptized, or if you would like to be baptized again as a symbolic way of rededicating your life back to Christ we would love to discuss this concept of baptism.  We will be having a Sunday Night Gathering dedicated to baptism in October (the date is still undecided).  We would like to meet with those interested a few weeks prior and walk through the concept of baptism together.  Please email us and let us know you are interested in being baptized or write on the back of your blue card “baptism”.

ministry teams: There are a ton of ways you can get involved with [lcf] during your college career.  Whether you want to play in the band, be a part of our prayer ministry, create graphics and videos, or help with set up and tear down there are tons of options for you to pick from.  Check out our get involved page above and our contact page to let us know where you would like to serve and help.

[lcf] missions: Please visit our missions page for more information about our upcoming mission trips.  Our next mission trip will be to New York City over the Winter Break.  The deadline for participating in this trip is October 31st.  We will also be going to Honduras over Spring Break.  The deadline for this trip is December 1st.  Pricing, dates, and more details can be found on our missions page.

[home groups]: These are our mid-size communities that meet every week in Brewer Townhouse (right beside Roly Poly) on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 9p.  These times are great for meeting new people on campus that are journeying through their spirituality just like you. There will be food and open discussion followed by our [journey groups].  For more info email us through our contact page or stop by our Connections Table during a Sunday Gathering.

[journey groups]: These small groups split up directly following the large group discussion from the [home groups].  Each group is gender specific and allows for each student to have a safe environment to dive a little deeper into discussion through accountability and a time of group prayer.   A lot of [journey groups] meet outside of their evening times together for meals, intramural sports, and random fun around town which forms some of the strongest friendships ever.  If you would like to know more about these groups you can visit our Connections Table during our Sunday Gathering or email us through our contact page.
